In October 1993, a 26-year-old Zakk Wylde set up a wall of Marshall amps and played an impromptu outdoor set right on the asphalt of a strip mall parking lot at the Northwest corner of 10 Mile Road and Meadowbrook Road in Novi, Michigan.Transitioning between his time with Ozzy Osbourne and forming Pride & Glory, he delivered a raw, heavy-handed cover of Mountain's "Mississippi Queen" packed with his signature aggressive picking and screaming pinch harmonics for a small crowd of local fans standing just feet away.
